Dr. Mahan will present work on the challenges and opportunities of investigating severe peripheral nerve injuries. The talk will focus on the critical need for clinical treatments, development and insights derived from a rodent model of severe peripheral nerve injuries, and the future work on developing both biomarkers and possible early interventions. Topics will include clinical evaluation and treatments, laboratory science, and MRI technology.
