Business Development Associate (Cambridge, MA)MD Biosciences Neuro is a preclinical and translational contract research organization (CRO) offering services for drug development in the field of neurology and pain research. Our team of neuroscientists are experts in the science and pharmacology involved in pain and neurodegenerative diseases. As a focused and specialized CRO, we bring valuable expertise that addresses common challenges researchers face. To bridge the gap between preclinical and clinical applicability, we constantly develop new methods to assist the advancement of new drugs and therapies.In this position, you will be on the business development team, located in Cambridge, MA. You will collaborate closely with other members of the business development team, as well as the scientific team. The objective of this role is to support the growth of the business, develop relationships with clients, and identify new leads and opportunities.Responsibilities:
- Develop and facilitate business development with new leads and clients with objective of hitting and increasing revenue targets
- Develop, grow, and manage relationships with clients
- Identify new leads and opportunities
- Prepare proposals and pricing
- Work cross-functionally across scientific and business development teams
- Organize and update CRM daily
- Participate in virtual and in-person client meetings, conferences, and webinars
- Assist in providing marketing content ideas
- Support other key BD-related activities
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree
- Biology background
- Pharma/biotech industry background
- Experience supporting business development/sales efforts
- Ability to connect with internal and external leadership
- Skills in communication, writing, presentation, negotiation, problem solving, and critical thinking
- Understanding of CRM platforms
- Ability to prioritize projects and multi-task
Preferred:- Neuroscience background
- Knowledge of preclinical models
- Experience working in a lab setting
